Secret icebreaker: which superpower would you choose?
Turn the question into a conversation
Suggested setup: two people talking for one to three minutes. No equipment needed.
During a natural pause, ask: “If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?” Listen before giving your own answer. One possible follow-up is “What would you do with it first?”
You do not need to lead the person toward a particular answer. If the conversation moves elsewhere, let it. For an open group variation, everyone chooses a superpower useful only in daily life, such as never losing their keys.
