Icebreaker question: your first job
Start with one small moment
Suggested setup: 4–8 people, about a minute per answer. No equipment needed.
Say what you did and choose one detail: a task, a routine or something unexpected. There is no need to summarize your whole work history. The group can follow up with “What did you learn?” or “What do you remember most clearly?”
Anyone who has not had a job, or prefers another topic, can describe an early responsibility at school, home or a club. Do not press for salary details or names of other people if the speaker does not offer them.
